The Heavy

These guys have been around for a few albums, but I’ve only recently been exposed to them. Straight out of the UK, they definitely are the product of some excellent parental record collections. Everything from James Brown, to the Zombies, to Memphis soul, to Kingston Dancehall Reggae. These guys push it all over the map, making their new album “The House That Dirt Built” a fantastic listen from front to back. The track “how you like me now?” is definitely the single candidate.
